This exhibit and its contents are dedicated to the historical legacy of the Prague Conservatory and the global evolution of the Czech double bass tradition.

From it's beginnings with its first teacher, Václav House in 1811, to modern innovators like Frederick Zimmermann, the Czech Double Bass School and its teachings have been a staple in bass education acround the world.
